To keep Mark Vincent Pelini’s legacy of kindness and leadership alive, the Foundation has:
- Awarded 16 scholarships to graduating seniors in the Mahoning Valley with plans to award six annually in the future.
- Provided recurring support to the Youngstown Boys & Girls Club Chapter.
- Awarded a cadet scholarship to the Youngstown Police Academy, and will continue to do so annually.
- Provided financial support to St. Dominic’s, Mark’s home parish.
- Sponsored a robotics project that allows high schools in Northeast Ohio to partner with industry mentors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
- Donated to the Team Jack Foundation, which raises money to fund impactful childhood brain cancer research and works to create national awareness for the disease.
- Provided monetary assistance to St. Joseph the Provider School to assist in the Catholic education of Youngstown youth.
- Provided financial support to Cardinal Mooney athletics.
- Helped Fund The Mahoning County Children Services Gifts for Kids Initiative
- Donated to Connecting For Kids, an organization that gives resources and support to Northeast Ohio Families who have children with mental health concerns, development delays and disabilities.
- Sponsored a program in the local Mahoning Valley to enable High School golf teams to practice and improve their golf skill
- The Uniform Funding Foundation (TUFF) that provides uniforms, equipment and mentorship to underserved youth athletes
