Cole Pensick (Class of 2013) and Mark Vincent Pelini (Class of 2014) who both were teammates at the University of Nebraska, both played the Center position and unfortunately both tragically passed away in fatal car accidents, six months apart. A committee in Nebraska made up of family, friends, teammates and a former coach was established in 2024 to keep their memory and legacy of kindness, leadership and commitment to their team alive.
